I stopped here for the first time for breakfast on my way to work and was greeted by the friendliest employees ever! Lisa was amazing, she took such great care of me when it came to taking my order and making me feel comfortable, and the sandwich and spuds are absolutely delicious! I ordered the BLT with egg & mayo and I could not recommend it more. They also take Apple Pay! Mitchell’s is amazing and they’ve definitely gained a new, regular customer.
First time eating here. What a delight. Fast service and food came out in a timely manner. Food was delicious! The eggs Benedict was awesome. The ham and cheese omelet very good. We liked the medallion cut home fried potatoes. All in all a great little place to eat! Worth a try!

While visiting Connecticut I looked for a breakfast spot and found this place. Very good. I'm a simple guy and one to stick to what I like so it became my go-to breakfast spot for the rest of the trip. I'm a fan of their chocolate chip pancakes primarily. Their sausage, egg, bacon, potato combo that came along with it were good too. I tried their 3v3v3 and 2v2v2 combos. The former I couldn't finish in one sitting I had to take it back. The service is friendly. The wait for food wasn't too long given that a lot of people do come so having little more wait is understandable. The last time I was there I finished within the hour roughly. The atmosphere definitely fits the family diner aesthetic as they have in their sign. Overall, a very good spot.
I would rate service for this 10 if I could. Lisa is an angel. She's not only an amazing server, but just an all around awesome person. The food is great! Loved my eggs benedict.
The Spuds are Awesome. Fantastic service. Good coffee. The over easy eggs were perfect. The roast beef hash was quite good. The rye toast was of good quality. Prices are spot on. The place is very clean and staffed with friendly servers. Easy access from I91.
Best breakfast within a 20 mile radius hands down. The servers have worked here for years, provide great service, and treat all the guests with respect. Personal favorite is the Sausage Biscuits & Gravy when they have it as a special.
Very friendly Hometown atmosphere. Top 3 Homemade corned beef hash. Picture has homemade roast beef hash, very good!! Great "Spuds" I'm a sauce guy, that's Frank's Hot Sauce on the roast beef hash and ketchup on the spuds, but , I bet, everything is great plain. No need to ask for more coffee, great teamwork.
